This is not a forwarded chain email. I wrote it myself. I hope you all for once forward this important email to all instead of all the junk we all get and forward.
My blood boils today with what I have experienced in Mumbai in the last few days and over the years. This is unacceptable to me any more Enough is enough.
If you share the same anger and want to change things around you, what are YOU doing about it?. Lets not just blame the politicians, sloppy administration and create useless commentary, you and me are part of problem. Lets show our resilience Mumbaikars and Indians NOT by lighting candles, not by just expressing sympathy for the tragedy and having a conversation at the coffee table or at the bar over drinks, BUT ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Oh and by the way if you find any of the so called "human rights activists" pull their guts out and ask them why they are not to be seen in Mumbai demanding human rights for the countless innocents who lost their lives here.
Jaagore India Jaago.
This is what I propose we can do
1. Let us demonstrate real democracy and actually cast our vote and vote the right candidates. If we don't have the right candidates standup and be counted or get the right candidates as our leaders. http://www.jaagore.com/ We don't cast our vote and then blame the politicians voted by special interest/illegal voters.
2. Lets not make the incompetent politicians get away easily by making them resign, lets tie a live grenade on their behind and actually make them accountable and force them to slog to fix the problems they have created. Confront them by all means possible, media, letters, emails, sms, beat the shit out of them.
3. Lets stick our head out and actually support the real competent people who can get the job done. Support the countless security people NSG, armed forces including Mumbai police who took the bullets for us and who confronted the terrorists. Also people like Manmohan Singh and P. Chidambaram. I feel Kiran Bedi needs be brought somehow into some responsible position in the security administration.
4. Lets not kid ourselves Pakistan is the epicenter of terrorism and their people actively support it. Lets put pressure on Pakistan and its people to get hold on these terrorist elements they are nurturing. There will be collateral damage and so be it, we have paid enough of this collateral damage. God willing I hope the Indian goverment goes in hot pursuit of these terrorists inside Pakistan. This is the most important, let use the method so successfully used by Mahatma Gandhi to get us this freedom in the first place. Let us use non co-operation as a tool to drive Pakistan to the wall. Don't have any ties with Pakistan or their products or services. No Pakistani music, movies, cricket. For those outside India, don't buy clothes or shoes made in Pakistan.

Well said Vicky.
It seems the only long term solution is a military confrontation with Pak where we will win for sure but we will also lose innocent lives. Anyway we have lost and are still losing numerous lives in this pseudo war for so many years now.
